RESOURCES: HR 2749 - Food Safety Enhancement Act of 2009

NEWS: July 29, 2009 - The bill has failed to receive a 2/3 majority, so it has gone down to defeat in the House of Representatives, at least for now. THE CONTROVERSY

Small producers are concerned that this proposed legislation would place undo burdens on them.
